Booking With Friends
Want to live with your friends? Get in touch and we’ll find you rooms together — or a whole apartment to yourselves.
Unlike a shared house, everyone signs an individual contract so you’re never liable for anyone else’s rent. Bills, WiFi and contents insurance are included, maintenance is handled on-site, and there’s a 24/7 team. Living together should be fun, not admin.
Book together and you each get £200 off. Refer more friends and there’s no cap — the more who book, the more you unlock.
Loved by RESIDENTS
When I first heard about YourTRIBE Deptford, I expected typical student accommodation — your run-of-the-mill halls with crowded corridors and minimal personality. What I found was something altogether more thoughtful: a place that genuinely blends comfort, lifestyle and that intangible feeling of home even when you’re miles away from where you grew up.
YourTRIBE Deptford isn’t just a building — it’s a community designed for people who want independence without losing support. The apartments are smartly laid out, with 2-4 bedroom flats that feel spacious compared to most student digs in London. Smaller numbers of flatmates mean you actually get to know the people you live with, and that makes all the difference when you’re settling into university life or a new city. Some rooms even have private balconies — perfect for quiet mornings with a coffee or watching the sunset over the rooftops. All utilities, superfast Wi-Fi and even breakfast twice a week are included in the rent, which makes budgeting that much easier — no hidden surprises.
One of the things that really struck me was how the design of the building balances style with everyday practicality. Underfloor heating keeps things cosy through the colder months, the kitchens are modern and well-equipped, and every flat has a dishwasher and washer/dryer — little comforts that remind you this is boutique living, not just a place to crash between lectures. Shared spaces like the rooftop terrace, lounges, study zones and even a gaming area make it easy to relax or socialise when you want to, and there’s always something going on — from film nights to cooking workshops.
If you enjoy a balance of study, play, and community, the environment here really supports that. The onsite team is visible and genuinely friendly; they make newcomers feel welcome and help ease that awkward first-week transition into student life. The vibe is relaxed but connected — you can dive into group events or just enjoy your own space without feeling pressured either way.
Location is another strong suit. Deptford itself is an old part of London with lots of character — a bit rough around the edges in the best way — where independent cafés, markets, galleries and creative spaces thrive. It’s got this wonderful mix of local London life and cultural energy, and with Deptford and New Cross stations just minutes away on foot, the rest of the city feels accessible without being overwhelming.
Every place has its critics, of course, and some local conversations about rapid student-housing growth remind you that development in London is never simple. But within the walls of YourTRIBE, what stood out to me was a focus on people — not just beds. This is a space that honours community, comfort, and a real sense of belonging. If you’re after more than a room with four walls — if you want to live somewhere that feels like part of your story — this is one of the best student accommodation experiences I’ve come across.
