Beyond the Building: What’s On at YourTRIBE This July
July begins with a Rooftop Summer Social at Elephant & Castle, bringing residents together to enjoy London’s skyline, meet neighbours and make the most of the summer months. It’s the perfect example of what YourTRIBE is all about, creating opportunities for people to connect and experience more of the city they now call home.
Creative experiences feature throughout the month too, with Paint by Numbers Nights taking place across multiple properties and a Bingo Night at South Bermondsey. These relaxed socials are often where friendships begin, giving residents an easy way to meet people outside of lectures and coursework.
Residents looking to stay active can join our Padel Social at Padel Box Bermondsey, offering the chance to try one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports. Football fans can also come together throughout the month for a series of World Cup watch parties, while those looking to slow things down can join a Guided Meditation Session or take part in a Sauna & Cold Water Reset experience.
From rooftop socials overlooking the city to sports sessions in South London and evenings spent meeting new people, the programme is designed to help residents get more from London, not just their accommodation.
Food-focused experiences also return this month, with a portfolio-wide Waffle Bar and a Summer Ice Bar serving up sweet treats across the community. Sometimes the best conversations start over waffles and ice cream.
Many of our experiences are inspired by resident feedback, helping ensure the programme reflects the interests of the people who live here. From creative workshops and sports sessions to social gatherings and wellbeing activities, the goal is always the same: helping residents get more from their time in London.
One recent creative workshop left a lasting impression on resident Geetha Durga, who praised both the activity and the team behind it:
“That’s a lovely event organised by Maria. Just getting in your creativity and they make it happen for you with amazing tote bags and jewellery. I love being here for real.”
Not every student wants a packed social calendar. Not every resident wants to spend every evening at an organised activity.
What matters is having the option, knowing there’s always an opportunity to meet people, try something new or simply spend time with friends when you want to.
For resident Louisa Saunders, that’s exactly what makes the programme valuable:
“The events are good at keeping you busy when you might not have a lot to do or just want to chill.”
Because at YourTRIBE, student accommodation is about more than just a room. It’s about finding your people, discovering your city and making the most of every moment in between.
