March Events at YourTRIBE

March brings us lighter evenings, warmer days (we hope!), and the arrival of spring. Across all YourTRIBE student accommodation in London, we’re marking the shift with a packed calendar of events.

From cultural celebrations and creative workshops to iconic city trips, movie nights and socials, there’s plenty happening across our four London properties this month.

Cultural & City Events Happening Across All YourTRIBE Properties

Holi Celebration (All Sites)

This March, we’re celebrating Holi the way it’s meant to be celebrated – join us for a Holi Colour Throw, marking the arrival of spring with music, laughter and bursts of colour. We’ll have skin-safe, washable colour powders but make sure you wear clothes you don’t mind getting colourful, bring your friends, or just come along to watch and soak up the atmosphere. It’s one of the biggest celebrations of the month.

Lantern Festival

As Lunar New Year celebrations come to a close, join us for the Lantern Festival at YourTRIBE.

Create your own lantern, decorate it in your own style, share wishes for the year ahead, watch dragon dances and take on a few riddles along the way.

British Science Week: Science Museum Trip

To celebrate British Science Week, we’re heading out into South Kensington together for a visit to the Science Museum.

Open to residents from all YourTRIBE properties, this trip is a chance to explore one of the world’s leading museums of science and technology. Expect interactive galleries, iconic space artefacts and the special photography exhibition Water Pantanal Fire.

University Mental Health Day

University Mental Health Day will take place at YourTRIBE Southwark, with residents from all properties welcome to attend.

The evening will include a speaker-led session, followed by calm spaces for those who want to continue the session with reflection and clear signposting to further support.

St Patrick’s Day

We’re marking St Patrick’s Day with a lively social evening across YourTRIBE student accommodation.

Expect Irish music, themed drinks, games and a great atmosphere focused on getting together and enjoying the night. Prefer something quieter? We’ll also be streaming Irish cult classics in the cinema rooms during the afternoon.

• Mario Kart Gaming Night – MAR10 Day
  MAR10 Day is the unofficial celebration of all things Mario. Expect competitive races, nostalgia and plenty of help from the ultimate Mario pro – our very own Mazin.
• Movie Nights
  We’ve got movie ideas lined up, but vote for your favourites in the app or let your  team know what you’d like to watch.
• 5v5 Basketball
  Get active, play as a team and enjoy some friendly competition with YourTRIBE Deptford at Blue Cage.
• V&A Evening Trip
  Mazin will be hosting an evening visit to one of London’s most iconic museums. Perfect for anyone who loves art, design and culture.

YourTRIBE South Bermondsey Student Accommodation

• Craft & Create Night
  A relaxed creative evening with simple, hands-on activities. No experience needed.
• Planting Workshop
  Decorate pots, plant herbs and worry not, we’ll give you the best tips to keep your seedlings happy. We can’t wait to taste your homemade pesto once the basil grows.
• Quiz Night
  Back by popular demand, it’s time to put your general knowledge to the test – but expect some real curveballs along the way with special prizes!
• Movie Night: Paddington 2
  A cosy, feel-good group watch. Fancy something different? Tell us and we’ll stream whatever is most popular or put even more movie nights on.

  A creative session inspired by awards season. Design posters, visuals or concepts linked to film.

• Board Games Night
  A relaxed way to connect, unwind and spend time together.

• Planting Workshop & Self-Care Evening
  Decorate pots, plant herbs and worry not, we’ll give you the best tips to keep your seedlings happy.
• Movie Night: Bottoms
  We love this one, but if you’d rather binge the latest Bridgerton, vote in the app or let us know.

YourTRIBE Deptford Student Accommodation

• Matcha Station
  Back by popular demand. We’re calling it, matcha isn’t just a trend.
• Chef-Led Cookery Class
  Celebrating the new Private Dining Room, we’re bringing in a professional to host a cookery workshop. Mochi, a classic Sunday roast (Yorkshire puddings included), or something totally different? The choice is up to Deptford residents.

• Board Games Night
  You voted for your favourite games on Instagram and we delivered. Show off your skills, teach others how to play and unwind together (unless it’s Monopoly).
